Send Schedules

Once your schedule is complete, you can send it to your employees by email or SMS text message (SMS available only within North America). Your ability to do this depends on the following conditions:

  • To send the schedule to an employee via email, the Contact Details for that employee must include an email address.

  • To send the schedule to an employee via text message, the Contact Details for that employee must include a cell phone number and SMS/Text Message must be selected.

  • If schedule approvals are enabled, the schedule you want to send must be approved, or you must be a schedule approver.

The schedule displays all employees and TBDs that you saved on the schedule, regardless of whether you have assigned them shifts.

  1. With the schedule displayed, click to open the Toggle Menu, and click Send Schedule.

    If Send Schedule is not available, the schedule is pending approval. It must be approved before you can send it.

  2. On the Select Employees and Message Types to Send screen, click Text , Email Personal Shifts , or Email Full Schedule for each employee you want to receive the schedule.

    To send the schedule to all employees who have the appropriate contact in LiveIQ, click Select All in the correct column.

  3. Click Send.

  4. Click OK.

    Once the schedule has been sent to employees, green envelopes identify the messages that have been sent. If any changes have been made since the schedule was sent, the envelopes change from green to red.
